I have the manual spiralizer it is 1/8th of the spiralizer's price and it does relatively all legumes and produce without difficulty. So I gave it a try with 3 thin carrots, but the prong failed to keep them straight into the shredding cone. I gave it a last chance and decided to follow the demo of the operation process online on the Kenwood website. Then I tried to work one carrot through the thick noodle cone, it was smashed and the X-prong couldn't hold it in place, they crushed under the X-prong.
